Cancellation Policy

When you schedule an appointment, this time is reserved exclusively for you and your relationship. Because this time cannot be easily filled at short notice, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Late Cancellations & No-Show Fee:

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as completely missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged a flat fee of $75.

Late Arrival Accommodation:

If you are running late, we will still conduct the session within the remaining time allotted. However, the full standard session fee will still apply and we cannot extend the session past our scheduled end time. This ensures you still receive valuable support while protecting the schedules of clients booked after you.

Card on File:

All clients are required to keep a valid credit, debit, or HAS/FSA card securely on file via our HIPAA-compliant portal. Late fees are automatically charged to this card on the day of the missed session.

A Note on Emergencies:

I completely understand that true emergencies, sudden illnesses, and unexpected life events happen. Because of this, everyone receives grace for ONE isolated emergency waiver per calendar year. Beyond that, the cancellation fee applies consistently, regardless of the reason, to honor and protect the dedicated clinical time set aside for your care.

How to Cancel:

To avoid a late fee, please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance by:

1. Logging into your secure client portal

2. Replying directly to your automated text/email appointment reminder

3. Sending a secure message via email.
